Bella Vista POA Continues Wholesale Water Agreement with Bentonville

Bella Vista’s long-standing wholesale water relationship with the City of Bentonville is moving forward under a renewed agreement outlining delivery capacity and operational terms.

Under the agreement, Bentonville will continue supplying treated potable water to the Bella Vista Village Property Owners Association through three metering stations, including Cold Cave Drive and Bridgewater. The agreement specifies available capacity of up to 2.3 million gallons per day (MGD) at Cold Cave and up to 3.7 MGD at Bridgewater, with provisions for exceeding those levels during emergencies by mutual consent.

Bella Vista relies in part on this wholesale supply to meet present and future potable water needs. The agreement also outlines that the POA will pay for water in two parts, including a base charge tied to infrastructure and operational costs.

While largely procedural, the agreement underscores the regional nature of water infrastructure in Northwest Arkansas. For Bella Vista, securing continued treated water capacity provides stability as residential growth and seasonal demand continue to fluctuate.
