Rogers City Employees to Receive One-Time Bonus as Thank You for Service
Rogers city employees are set to receive a one-time $300 bonus this fall, a gesture from city leadership to recognize the hard work and dedication of staff across all departments.
The resolution, introduced at the September 23, 2025 City Council meeting, appropriates just over $230,000 from the city’s general, street, and airport fund reserves to cover the paymentsAMENDED September 23, 2025 Roge…. Eligible employees include all full-time and part-time workers employed with the city as of October 25, 2025.
Mayor Greg Hines said the measure reflects the city’s appreciation for its workforce, noting that the continued economic and social progress of Rogers wouldn’t be possible without the commitment of its employees.
“Every employee — from police officers and firefighters to the parks team and office staff — contributes to making Rogers a great place to live,” Hines said. “This is one way we can show our gratitude for their service to the community.”
City Clerk Jessica Rush echoed the sentiment, highlighting how the bonus not only rewards employees but also reinforces Rogers’ commitment to maintaining a strong and motivated workforce.
For residents, the decision underscores the city’s belief that taking care of its employees directly benefits the community at large. A well-supported staff ensures public services continue to run smoothly, whether that’s responding to emergencies, maintaining streets, or planning for the city’s rapid growth.
The resolution passed with broad support and is expected to be distributed before the end of the year.
