Rogers Breaks Ground on $23.4M Water and Sewer Operations Facility
Rogers Water Utilities is launching a major infrastructure initiative with the construction of a new Water and Sewer Operations Facility, marking a significant step forward in modernizing the city’s essential services.
The facility will be built by Milestone Construction under a $23.4 million contract, which was officially awarded during the April 25 Water and Sewer Commission meeting. The agreement is expected to be finalized by May 1, allowing construction to begin shortly thereafter.
Designed to replace aging infrastructure and streamline operations, the new headquarters will consolidate water and sewer functions into one centralized location. The move is expected to improve daily operations, enhance safety for employees, and accommodate long-term population growth in Rogers.
“This facility is a key investment in the future of Rogers,” said utilities officials. “Not only will it allow us to better serve the public, but it will also provide a safer and more efficient working environment for our staff.”
The facility will include updated dispatch, maintenance bays, offices, and storage, along with sustainable design elements that reflect the city's environmental goals. Construction is expected to span over the next 18–24 months.
